YCC needs your support this summer.

Youth Conservation Corps (YCC) prepares young people in Lake County for success through hands-on job training, education, and life skills. We serve opportunity youth — ages 16 to 24 — who are not thriving in traditional systems but who are full of potential.

Through our programs, participants gain industry-recognized certifications in construction and conservation, develop leadership skills, complete their high school diploma or equivalency, and receive individualized support from case managers and mentors.

With major cuts in government funding, we’re facing a serious challenge — and we need your help. Federal support has long played a critical role in sustaining our work, but recent changes have slashed our budget, putting essential youth programs at risk. To remain strong, flexible, and ready to serve those who need us most, we must build a broader foundation. That’s why we’re calling on donors like you to help us raise $30,000 to keep our programs thriving and ensure that no young person is left behind. We’re raising $30,000 to make sure no young person is turned away.

And thanks to two generous donors, every dollar you give will be matched.

Your support keeps doors open, futures bright, and our local workforce growing strong.
